Hi everyone!

I have a 3 year old boy, and am expecting a girl in the next 4 weeks (eek!)

My husband and I both love the name Rowan for our daughter, but our son's name is Senan, and I'm wondering if they sound too similar, or whether they go well together. I'd really appreciate any opinions!!

I like them together, and they're both lovely names... it sort of sounds like you've got a bit of a sound theme going on, but it's nice and not too much.

Personally they would be too similar for me, but if you and your husband like them that's all that matters not what a bunch of strangers would choose x

I think it may be hard to say and I’d keep saying Ronan instead to match Senan.

I think it'd be fine generally but I tend to think of Rowan as a boys name so I'd be confused but that's unrelated.

The names are too similar in sound.
Using Rowan will down grade both.

How about Senan and ..
Rowena
Rhona

Too similar @SarahDee31
i also think Rowan is too similar to RoMan and theres loads of baby Romans (fastest rising boy name) so it will merge with that name too
