Good luck for the c-section.
Wait until you meet him before picking a name.
From your list my favourite is Rex but Oscar goes better with your other names.
Orson is too close to Arson, and Milo is a milky drink.

Arthur and Rupert sound a bit regal, so something classic perhaps? Charles (Charlie) or something.

Kanaloa · 25/05/2023 12:01

I like Oscar best with your other boys’ names. I always think of Rex as a dog name, plus I’m not a fan of siblings sharing initials. I don’t mind Milo but it seems a bit more modern than Arthur and Rupert. Then Orson I just don’t like much but I’m not sure why.

SoupDragon · 25/05/2023 12:07

I also have Rex firmly as a dog's name in my head. Not that I know any, human or canine!

The only one I really like from your list is Oscar.

Hugo has a similar feel to Milo and your DSs' names (which to me feel "slightly posh and traditional"). Jasper?

Marcipex · 25/05/2023 12:10

I’m not keen on Orson, tho I didn’t know why until the previous poster said Arson.

The others are all nice names. I really like Rex and I would buy him a Jellycat dinosaur.

ComeTheFuckOnBridgett · 25/05/2023 12:12

I think Oscar is the only name that goes with the others you have. The other names aren't really names in my head.

MerryChristmasToYou · 25/05/2023 12:22

Some wildcard suggestions: Victor, Edgar, Felix, Magnus

DipperandMabel · 25/05/2023 12:23

Oscar goes the best with your sons names and us the nicest imo

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 25/05/2023 12:30

Oscar is adorable and goes really well with the other names.

TellKingTutIWantMyMummy · 25/05/2023 12:36

Milo or Oscar.

Lenovolaptop · 25/05/2023 12:38

Oscar is the best

Magnus is good!

George
Hector

Koleniko1989 · 25/05/2023 12:51

Thanks for feedback all have taken all your comments on board!

I think Oscar will win out overall just hopefully won't get teased with the grouch lol

As much as I like what orson means, bear cub, it doesn't sound like a name I would name my child lol

Rex, as someone said sharing initials isn't ideal!

Not heard of a milky drink called Milo before lol

MerryChristmasToYou · 25/05/2023 13:08

And yet you suggested Felix, very popular cat food and far more well known than that milky drink...

MerryChristmasToYou · 25/05/2023 15:12

There's a cat food called Felix?
What is this cat food?
DFelineDeity is only fed hand-reared organic meat from a Master Butcher or sustainably sourced fish.

MerryChristmasToYou · 25/05/2023 15:16

@SoupDragon , there's a dog food called Oscar.
I like the name César.

Hazelnuttella · 25/05/2023 15:16

Milo feels a slightly different genre to your other names.

I like Oscar.

Also James, Hugo, Hugh, Victor

Topazbutterfly · 25/05/2023 23:30

All lovely names but I think Oscar or Orson go best with your other boys names.

GL123 · 25/05/2023 23:37

I would say when you’re reading the comments on here you will probably know which one you like best based on whether it’s annoyed you if someone’s said they don’t like it! If you like it go for it, don’t base it on how popular it is or really even how it goes with your other children’s names because for all it’s nice for them all to tie in, when they’re adults no one cares whether their names all ‘go’. Choose your favourite 😊 good luck, I’m sure it will be amazing!

MargotBamborough · 26/05/2023 07:39

From your list I would definitely pick Oscar because it fits much better with Arthur and Rupert. Your other names aren't as classic.

Some other suggestions:

Hugo
Edmund
Jasper
Charles
Sebastian
Felix
Louis

ThomasinaLivesHere · 26/05/2023 08:16

I agree that Oscar goes best with your names and is a nice name on its own.

LulooLemon · 26/05/2023 08:23

Milo - chocolate milkshake
Oscar - the best name on this list
Rex - nice
Orson - no

user1492757084 · 26/05/2023 08:26

Arthur, Rupert and Rex sound best to me.

How about..
Maxwell
Ormond
Lachlan
Digby
Neville

Koleniko1989 · 28/05/2023 22:41

So baby has been born on Friday and all is well! Been trawling through names with no luck!

Have attached a picture! Any name suggestions welcome :)

Something to go along with Arthur and Rupert

*[Message from MNHQ: Please note, we've now removed the pic at the OP's request, but rest assured he's a gorgeous little chap!]
