Frank and Vincent for our son who is due anyday. If we went Frank he’d be Frankie and Vincent would be Vinnie (less keen on)
which do you think is the nicest? Not bothered about them being popular or that Frankie is unisex. My husband himself has a unisex name

Vincent

SummerBaby23 · 23/05/2023 12:39

I would wait until baby is born and call him both, sound them out loud to him, refer to him as both to each other and see how they feel. We did this with our top 2 names with our daughter, it really didn’t matter that we decided after she was born (a week) and I’m 100% sure we got it right for us and glad we didn’t rush.

I love them both. Would go with Vincent but Frank is also great.

Divebar2021 · 23/05/2023 12:52

Frank, it’s a great name!

Treacletoots · 23/05/2023 21:54

Frankie

PickledMuffin · 23/05/2023 21:59

Frank!

Soapyspuds · 23/05/2023 22:04

Vincent. Please not Frankie or Franky.

user1492757084 · 24/05/2023 06:13

Vincent. My neighbour is named Vin.
He is a successful entrepreneur with a great sense of humour and he loves dogs.
I know of two other Vincents - both like to be called Vince.
So Vinnie is not a given.

Carsarelife · 24/05/2023 06:18

I like both so I'm no help. Only ever known one Vincent and it wasn't shortened

Carsarelife · 24/05/2023 06:18

I also love Frank as a stand alone name, instead of making it longer with Frankie

FayCarew · 24/05/2023 10:07

Not keen on either of them, but of the two, Frank.

RuthW · 24/05/2023 12:17

Vincent.

Gate Frankie as a full name. Love Francis.

orangeflags · 24/05/2023 12:23

Both great names

Luredbyapomegranate · 24/05/2023 22:59

Francis or Franklin nn Frank

Vincent is thuggish to me

JumbleJo · 25/05/2023 07:33

Frankie. Vincent just makes me think of Vinnie Jones 😂

PrincessesRUs · 25/05/2023 14:21

I do t like either - I think Frank is slightly better - definitely prefer Frankie to Vinnie

Topazbutterfly · 26/05/2023 10:12

Vincent is my favourite, I think it's a lovely name.

Marcipex · 26/05/2023 10:16

I don’t like either much, but Vinnie is definitely a thug to me.

Oldermum84 · 26/05/2023 10:56
