Like Samuel best out of your boys names, and Iris is my favourite out of your girl choices, although Alys is also very pretty.

am sure rosser is a much loved family name BUT does the fact he's bound to be nicknamed tosser not bother you?!

I only like samuel of boys, like all the girls though, Iris goes well with lee

I love all of your girls names esp. Nerys but I think that Miriam goes best with your surname.

I'm not sure about any of your boys names actually going well with your surname. I'd never previously thought how hard Lee is as a surname to get good forenames that don't sound silly.

im not overly botherd about rosser but i just wonderd wat people thought of it. Alys is the welsh way of spelling Alice i think i like Nerys best for a girl and samuel for a boy.

i also like the name Robyn and Adele for a girl and tomos (welsh) and Joseph for a boy

how are the first two boys names and nerys pronounced?

Report

meridian · 21/02/2008 15:15

very nice names.. we have a cat named Alys...she can from a tea shop in wales last summer as a tiny grey fluffball... so she needed a welsh name... I got out an old baby name book and when I said Alys outloud she started to purr.. so Alys it was.. but I always liked the name.. Nerys is nice too, and Ioan and Samuel for boys names..
