Twin boy names

We're expecting twin boys and love the names Sacha & Caspar.

My worry is that the name Sacha in the UK is more commonly a girls name. Would this worry you? Im concerned he be teased for his name being "girly" later in life.

Any other suggestions along these lines?

I am not keen on Sacha.
I know two twins called Roman and Luca. I love those names together!

Really love Sacha for a boy actually! I’m not as keen on Caspar but not for any particular reason.

I'm not keen on Sacha at all but it isn't really feminine in my opinion so you're safe there. Love Caspar.

Sacha is short for Alexandra and Alexander.

Name your twins Alexander and Caspar.

Call one Sacha if it feels right in your neighbourhood.
Sacha can then use Alex if he feels like it when older.

Yes girlish and a little ghost .
What about
Samuel and Jasper

I think whilst it is also a female name, it isn't so common as to be an issue. It's likely the kids won't know any other Sacha / Sasha.

Not keen on Caspar, but love Cassius and Castiel.

Sam and Cass are strong combination.
Jack and Jeff
Jake and James
Alex and Alun
Ben and Blake

Sacca is male even though I don't know any person Called that (but that what kids say) Sasha is still a girls name.

ThomasinaLivesHere · 22/05/2023 06:35

It would worry me but then I think it depends where you live. That name isn’t well known where I live so it would be hard to know how it would come across as I do see potential for it to be seen as feminine.

StampOnTheGround · 22/05/2023 06:58

I think the twin you named Sacha would wish they were the one named Caspar.

Caspar is nice though. 😊

ShoesoftheWorld · 22/05/2023 07:04

Too many 'a' sounds. How about Alexei? Same kind of vibe and could also lead to Sacha if you wanted to call him that day to day.

Or (assuming you kept Caspar) I might go down an entirely different route. Laurence, Orlando, Jacob, Lucas all work well with Caspar and retain each boy's individuality.

PurpleChrayne · 22/05/2023 07:25

The vowels in Sacha and Casper are too similar. Plus if I heard these names I would think they were boy-girl twins.

RuthW · 22/05/2023 12:19

Sacha is far too girly for a boy imo.

cordelia16 · 23/05/2023 09:08

Aside from whether Sacha is too feminine, I don't think Sacha and Caspar sound good together as twin names. Something about the combination of -a sounds and repeating -sh/-ss sounds.
