Which name for our daughter?

Hi there,
I love all of the below names, partner doesn’t like Lydia but it’s one of my faves. I love Amy but worry it’s a bit plain. Which one would you go for? I think I like Amy best! Thanks 😀
FYI May and Anne are family middle names, Louise is my name as I think I’d like it in there somewhere!

Lucy over Zoe definitely, it's really beautiful. I think any of the middle names would work really, they're all nice enough.

Even though your name is Louise, I don't think Lucy would cause a lot of confusion, mainly because they really do make quite different sounds and it isn't like it's names for a sister set so I think it's fine.

My favourite of all the names from the 1st list is Lydia though, it's gorgeous but if not then Lucy.

Lucy or Zoe but not sure about Zoe Anne

I like Lucy best.

Amy is one of my favourite names, a classic. Lucy is up there too. The rest are nice, all lovely names.

I love Lucy and Zoe: classic and timeless. Not keen on Lydia

I love Zoe, but Zoe Louise sounds better the Zoe Anne?

I think Louise and Lucy are very similar, so it’s a bit odd. Amy is a wee bit dull.

In that order, I’d try and use two middle names if you are using May, as it’s such a cliche

This is my and my daughters name 🤭 oh well I like the similarity and don't think it's odd. I spoke to a few people before naming her and no one even noticed the similarity until I pointed it out.

There are no names that everyone will like so best to go with what suits you

Lucy is a great name.

I like all the names on the list tbh, they're classic names.

I like Amy Anne

Amy Louise sounds too 80s

Elegant Lydia would be my pick, followed by Georgina (with it's nice variety of nn's) - I'm personally less keen on the e/ie/y ending names as they often sound a bit "cute" to me.

I'd also go for Louise as a middle name (alliterative Lydia Louise sounds especially cool imo!) as I love the idea of mum's name as middle name.

I understand May and Anne are family names too but May is so overused as a middle name this generation it feels generic (although would make a lovely first name choice!) and Anne is the previous generations generic middle name option (although Ann/a again makes a nice first name?)

I’ve always loved Amy too, Amy Louise for the win

Aimee is a slightly more unusual spelling
