The museum is pretty impressive

Like the uk Eurovision entry? Thanks for putting that ear worm in my head 😂

"According to the Tibetan teachings, there are three death bardos: the painful bardo of dying, the luminous bardo of dharmata, and the karmic bardo of becoming."

It's a no from me.

KnickerlessParsons · 11/05/2023 10:46

No.

Bardot at a push (as in Brigitte) but I'm grasping at straws there!

CindyCrawfoot · 11/05/2023 10:55

Are you Buddhist?

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 11/05/2023 11:28

Was trying to see if there was a way to combine 2 family names but doesn’t seem like it works so will rethink.

Are the names Barry and Doris? Barbara and Donald?

I think Bardo is a nice but unusual name!
Makes me think of the old tv series "Jack & Jill", there was a character named Barto in it, quite similar.

lakesummer · 11/05/2023 16:24

It is a Buddhist concept around the death, not sure I'd pick it for a dc's name.

My first thought too. Sort of like purgatory.

Glad someone else went straight to this! Re the earworm, apparently singing happy birthday to yourself helps to get rid of it - something to do with your brain not letting go of the earworm as it wants a conclusion ie for you to sing the whole song and complete the "task" so distract it with happy birthday as you know all that song.

ourflagmeansdeath · 11/05/2023 17:26

I'm normally all for putting whatever you like as a middle name as it's hardly used but this is truly terrible. It isn't even a great way to show honour to two names because the mash up has like no clear link really (I'm assuming).

DuchessOfSausage · 11/05/2023 17:26

If it's Barry and Donna, you could have Dorry

jammydodgyy · 11/05/2023 17:41

Sorry I don't get it personally

fairycupcakes · 11/05/2023 22:46

if you tell us the names perhaps we can help?

greenspaces4peace · 11/05/2023 22:49

ahhhh i went to school with girls named after their aunts/uncles:
there was a Franori, a DaLinda, and Theldonna.
so if you share the names we could hive mind a suitable combo.

BlueChampagne · 12/05/2023 09:28

Short for Bardolph or Isembardo? I'm going to buck the trend - I quite like it. It has a mediaeval ring.

Skybluepinky · 12/05/2023 09:47

Weren’t they UK Eurovision entry possibly 80’s or 90’s that said tooken instead of taken?
