Eve or Eva?

One last voting please!
Which do you prefer between Eve, Eva and our current forerunner Flora?

Not unduly concerned about the popularity of Eve names at the moment, which we appreciate is high.

I don’t like Flora. I like both Eve and Eva and if pushed I’d choose Eve.

Not a fan a flora - it's a spread to me. I like the name Eva. Eve is a bit overdone. Therefore Eva, Eve, Flora!

Honestly don’t choose any Eve name. It’s mad. At one stage a third of the girls in dds class were named a variant of Eve. It’s totally ruined through overuse not to mention very confusing. There are lots of nice normal names around why does everyone pick the same one?!

@mynewusername2023 Evelyn was considered but eventually vetoed by DH.

Flora seems very marmite on mumsnet - hard to work out if the ‘spread’ association would actually prove to be a problem in real life, but this is my concern.

If you consider it as a group of names - Eve, Evie, Edie, Ivy, Eva, Ava, Evelyn, Eabha, Aoife, Ewa, Efa, Evangeline, Everly, Niamh, and their hyphenated versions etc then it does seem overused and samey

Eve/Eva and Flora seem very different in vibe.

@DuchessOfSausage yes different vibes but two names we both like! The only other one we are considering at the moment that we can both agree on is Heidi.
