Girl name - middle name Iris Wendy

Middle names have been chosen in honour of late family members - I know “Wendy” isn’t the best of names but a close family member of this name died when I was young so want to include her.

So far we have shortlisted to:

Elsie

Cleo
Thea

I like these names but just don’t love them. We aren’t finding out if we’re having a boy or girl and the boy name has been long decided but girl we just can’t decide!

Name must be fairly short, don’t mind old fashioned but still “trendy”, although not too “out there” (yes, yes I am picky 🤣)

Surname begins with A and is fairly common!

Not seen it mentioned so far but my immediate thought was
Willow Iris Wendy

Not short, but only two syllables and goes well with the two W's, would also sound great with an 'A' surname xx

If you’re using both Iris and Wendy as middle names I think you need a 3+ syllable first name that you can shorten if you choose .

Of your list though Cleo is the best by far - others are very popular.

I also like just Iris Wendy, with Iris as the first name.

I like Cleo and Elsie from your list, but I agree that a longer name would 'flow' better with Iris Wendy. I also think a name beginning with W or I would help.
