Help me decide between these names

Hi all!

We are expecting a little boy and narrowed it down to 3 names:

Sebastian
Samuel
Leo

Which one would you use?

Sebastian, lovely - Samuel is very common, and Leo is nice too -

My vote goes to Sebastian though, lots of choice of unusual nicknames, and a very smart name in its own right

Samuel or Leo. I think Samuel pips Leo by a hair.

Sebastian sounds harsh to my ears.

Leo is a favourite here! I do know a Sebastian who goes by Seb which is also lovely. Samuel is a nice name too.. all depends on how you feel on the shortened versions! My mum specifically chose a name that couldn't be shortened for me, having hated people shortening my brothers!

I know of 3 Sebastians born this year so far... when naming my boy I'd consider how many will be in class with him in 4 years time...

Samuel or Leo - largely because I know comparatively few whereas it feels like every other kid is called Sebastian these days....

We have a Leo and we adore the name but it is far more popular than we realised. It's also often mistaken for Theo.

I think Samuel is lovely too.

Leo. Samuel is okay, I love Sam but the full name not so much. Sebastian doesn't have any nice nicknames to me and the full name sounds too harsh in my opinion. Leo is really lovely, beautiful name.

Samuel is my favourite and is a classic.
Leo is lovely but too popular right now and too similar to Theo, which is far too overused
Not keen on Sebastian - too long and Seb/Sebby makes me think of Seborheia and Sebum. Basty/Bastian makes me think of ...

I have a Samuel, so obviously gets my vote.

I've loved Sebastian since Cruel Intentions but I'm not a fan of Seb so I didn't use it.

Not a fan of Leo.
