Fay - lovely. Faye is probably more popular, but I prefer Fay
Feya - too close to Freya. Looks like a typo
Felicity - nice meaning but too long for me
Meredith - surname. Don't like it as a name

PickledScrump · 16/04/2023 20:03

@FayCarew i like Fay but two syllables or more works a bit better with a surname, Feya has the same meaning and feel just flows better, although obviously less common than Faye. Freya is nice but there’s so many now, I have considered it Feya may be misheard as Freya.

I love Faye and Felicity

FayCarew · 16/04/2023 20:27

I would hear Feya as Fayer and think it was a surname.
It looks made up and merges into all the Freyas and the Maya type names

Without knowing the surname, I can't say. I'd avoid something like Fay Cox, Fay Day, Fay Moss or Fay Fox.

Fay. Love this. The only thing that puts me off it is that it can't be shortened. Don't get me wrong some people prefer that, but I've got a name that can't be shortened and I absolutely detest it. Its only out of respect for my parents that I wouldn't change my name.
Feya. Don't know what to make of it TBH.
Felicity. Love the vibe, very magical. Not too keen on the actual sound though.
Meredith. Don't like it personally, but There's lots of good nns for her to use if she wants which is a good thing.

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 16/04/2023 20:42

I prefer spelling Faye but nice name.

not heard feya before but not keen.

don’t like Meredith

felicity is nice but quite long and the only shortening I know of is Flick, which is quite nice but different vibe.

hlc123 · 16/04/2023 20:56

I like Fay and Meredith

Ikeameatballs · 16/04/2023 20:58

I really don’t like Feya and Fay is meh.

Like both Felicity and Meredith.

PickledScrump · 16/04/2023 21:02

@FayCarew
Feya is just said like Fay but with an ah at the end.
our surname is two syllables but unfortunately a lot of names don’t flow well with it, frustratingly a lot of the names I like 😂

@user1492757084 not looking for other suggestions and other than the alternative Fay spelling they’re not my taste but thank you.

Fay - don't like at all
Feya - is this a typo for Freya?
Felicity - Prefer this to the two prior names
Meredith - a good, strong name.

shoopshoopdedoo · 17/04/2023 21:46

My favourite is Meredith. I like Fay/Faye as well, but not Feya. Personally, I’m not keen on Felicity but I’m not sure why.

YellowGreenBlue · 17/04/2023 21:47

Felicity is my favourite

RoseMartha · 17/04/2023 22:23

Faye and Felicity

ChildrenOfTheQuorn · 17/04/2023 22:27

Felicity or Meredith.
