In fashion? I'm not too sure about others, but I don't choose my children's names because they're 'in fashion'.

Sounds too much like Alvin and Theodore off of the Chipmunks to me 🤣 sorry.

Albert Edward sounds easier and less fussy aloud.

Albert Llewellyn
Albert James
Albert Augustus
Albert Louis
Albert Michael
Albert Quentin

My father was born in the 1910s and he was Albert Edward. (He hated the name Albert though, so always went by an abbreviation of his second name )
I find it gently amusing that a name fashionable in the early 20th century (for the Royal connections) but already very dated by the 1960/70s is back in fashion now.
Sorry OP, not very helpful, just pondering. 😁

PurpleAirGuitar · 17/04/2023 23:45

I have to admit I don't really like Albert, but if I had to choose a middle name for it... I normally like Edward better than Edwin, but Albert Edward just makes me think of Edward VII (it was his full name) so on this occasion I think I'd pick Edwin.

I quite like the suggestions of Albert William, Albert George and Albert Henry. I think Albert definitely needs to be with another traditional, possibly royal name.

Albert Ernest?
Albert Frederick?

We have just decided on Albert Edward for our little one.
I Love the name. But ive had lots of funny looks from people over the name Albert thar really dont like it
