Sibling name

I already have an Arthur, it is shortened to Artie day to day. Would Francis be a good match for DS2? He would be named Frank/ie day to day. I know siblings names do not need to match but I would like them to have similar vibes when said together

To me they’re totally different vibes, Arthur is a really strong name and Francis is a bit wet and feminine. That’s just my thoughts on them though

Similar classic, strong, traditional vibes for me, love Frank or Frankie as nms

How did I know someone would be here telling you Francis is wet 😂 I’ve never ever heard people in real life calling a name wet- totally baffles me!! Francis is a gorgeous name, Frank and Frankie lovely nicknames for it too and it goes really well with Arthur/Artie. Both lovely & classic in my opinion ☺️

Lovely together. The only Francis I know is far from wet, they’re both great names.

I personally do not see it as a wet name either I’ve always thought of it as a fairly classic name

They go really nicely

They go fine as brothers.

Soozikinzii · 11/04/2023 09:19

My dad was Arthur his brother was Albert can be Bertie or Albie ? I think its great that the 1920s names are coming back - just realised its a century ! But I do like Francis, Frank or Frankie when they're little. Frank sounds strong doesn't it?

RosaSkye · 11/04/2023 14:50

I think they go really well , both their full names and Artie & Frank

MyEasterEggs · 11/04/2023 19:52

Love these as a sibset!

SkyeBlue28 · 11/04/2023 19:59
