I prefer Beatrix Rosa but they are both nice names

Beatrix Rosa

This may be a weird thought but I like that Beatrix ends in an x, and if I had a daughter I would say "I love you so much, I gave you a name with a kiss in it!".

Chocolatesandroses · 06/04/2023 23:18

I like Beatrix Rosa better

That's adorable!

Definitely Beatrix.

I don't like Ada at all. The other names are nice, not sure about the combinations though.

Beatrix Rosa delightful and the sound reminds me of the children's novel, Playing Beatie Bow. (rhymes with it a bit)
Beatrix Rosalind is also lovely.
Ada is not as nice as the other three names. Two many 'd' sounds. Do you like Rosalind Amy or Eva?

OneCup · 07/04/2023 01:57

Rosalind Ada!

yikesanotherbooboo · 07/04/2023 04:58

I like Rosalind Ada for the Franklin/ Lovelace connection.

MintyBinty · 07/04/2023 05:42

Beatrix Rosa

MissGroves · 07/04/2023 05:55

Rosalind Ada all day for me though I would consider Ada as a first name (Ada Lovelace first ever computer programmer) but Rosalind is beautiful.

JauntyRedShoes · 07/04/2023 05:55

Love Rosalind and not keen on Ada. How about Ava, Ivy or Ida or Anna.

LlynTegid · 07/04/2023 16:35

I'd choose Beatrix. Rosalind will often be shortened to Rose, and I'd think immediately of Rose West. Beatrix I'd think of Potter or the Dutch former Queen.

ODFOx · 07/04/2023 16:37

I prefer Rose to Rosa.
But both your suggestions are lovely.

DarkDarkNight · 07/04/2023 16:49

Beatrix Rosa

sunshineandmango · 07/04/2023 16:54

I love both of these names! Have you thought about which nickname you prefer - Bea vs Rose/Rosie - as this may be something that comes into play (even if you don’t intend to use one)

AdaColeman · 07/04/2023 16:59

Rosalind Ada all the way!

shoopshoopdedoo · 07/04/2023 17:48

Beatrix Rosa. Or Rosalind Beatrix? I have really liked Ada, but I think I’m going off it as I hear it more and more frequently!

Theelephantinthecastle · 07/04/2023 17:49

I love Rosalind and think it's quite unusual.

I went to school with one who was always Rosalind, never Rose or Rosie

SuperGinger · 07/04/2023 17:57

Rosalind ada

FayCarew · 07/04/2023 18:04

Rosalind Beatrix

PickledScrump · 07/04/2023 18:36

Beatrix Rosa, the nn Bea is lovely. Rosalind just seems dowdy to me and I don’t like Ada.

thebaneofmylifeisacat · 07/04/2023 19:54

Sorry neither of those combos sound pretty or work together

Ada rose is ok though sounds like a maid in a miss Marple novel. Or a lady in an old people's home

Rosamund is far nicer

Very sweet!

I think Beatrix - they are both nice, but more Rosies around than Beas

Luredbyapomegranate · 07/04/2023 19:56

.. although I’d go for Beatrix Rosalind rather than Rosa - I think it works better

RuthW · 07/04/2023 22:15

Rosa Beatrix
