Thoughts on Celeste?

It’s ok, but far from my favourite Ce- name. Some people here will probably say it sounds like ‘molest’ but I don’t think that’s even close to being an issue. Personally my mind goes to Daphne and Celeste (which is potentially why I’m not a fan of the name), but that’s even less relevant.

I love celeste. It's a beautiful name

A bit like molest, a bit like cyst, but word associations unless massively obvious don’t put me off. I think it’s fresh and cool.

I really love it

I'm not a fan i'm afraid (my first thought was also Baba the elephant!). I'm not even sure why I don't like it.....I guess it's a bit frilly and a bit "try hard" and borders between sounding really posh or really chavvy.

I find Celeste sort of pretty and a bit clunky and awkward at the same time - it’s a bit lispy and doesn’t really flow well with a lot of middle names and surnames. I much prefer it as a middle name.
