Can't go wrong with any of them all lovely, out of the three I prefer Hannah only because I know quite a few Emma's and an Emily (all in their 30s) but feel these are still quite popular names now for babies. My advice is to have the name picked out before baby is born or at least narrowed to two, I had an awful time trying to decide after baby is born and felt under pressure to make a decision from a long list and still feel a bit unsure with the choice- I went for Lucy which is quite popular where I live but my favourite out of my list ☺️

Emma is just so beautiful. I like Hannah too and Emily is just okay. But Emma is the best of the 3.

DramaAlpaca · 29/03/2023 18:02

Emma for me.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 29/03/2023 18:06

Hannah.

but they are all lovely

ohbaby22 · 29/03/2023 18:09

Emma - classic and is lovely at all ages

SquigglePigs · 29/03/2023 18:10

Hannah is my favourite (it was on my short list) but all three are lovely. I don't think you can go wrong with your choice here.

heidihigh · 29/03/2023 18:28

I think they're all lovely classic names but I prefer Hannah of the three Smile

Emily, closely followed by Emma. Hannah is nice but doesn’t appeal to me personally, although I would say this is the least common for a baby being born this year (if that’s a factor for you)

Hannah or Emily x

Twoshoesnewshoes · 29/03/2023 18:44

Emma
Emily

not Hannah

TomatoSandwiches · 29/03/2023 18:47

Emma, Hannah is also nice but Emma wins by a smidge.

halfsiesonapotnoodle · 29/03/2023 18:48

All really dull and boring to me I'm afraid but Hannah is the least bad.

geminiflanagan · 29/03/2023 18:50

Not Emily.

Emma is ok, but Hannah is more unusual at the moment - I don't know any little Hannahs, but so so many Emilys and quite a few Emmas.

pilates · 29/03/2023 18:51

They are all really nice but if I had to choose it would be Hannah

roseberrycherry · 29/03/2023 18:51

Emma!!!

Mypatioisminging · 29/03/2023 18:51

Emma for me too, then Emily then Hannah

Partyandbullshit · 29/03/2023 18:52

They’re all the same to me. I know at least two of each, and they’re all interchangeable in terms of “type”.

shmiz · 29/03/2023 18:54

Agree with @halfsiesonapotnoodle -
yawn inducing names !

Butterwicky · 29/03/2023 18:58

Hannah is a mum's name now. The others are a bit more timeless. I'd go for Emma as Emily is a bit like the ubiquitous Amelia.

Smoky1107 · 29/03/2023 19:03

My daughter is Hannah and I love the name so I'm biased

Nalupa · 29/03/2023 19:03

Hannah

BeanzToastie · 29/03/2023 19:04

They're pleasant classic names but slightly dated maybe? These were top 10 names in the 1990s, but perhaps not so much in the 2020s.

Where do they sit in the charts now? Anecdotally, I would say there are fewer young Hannahs and Emmas than Emilys these days.

I like Emma and Hannah equally, and Emily slightly less.

Emma is the best name in the whole world.

All Emma's are beautiful, talented, funny, charismatic and charming.
