Boys would be:

I'm sure there are more though.

What names have you only ever met one person with?

Ha, my daughter’s class had ‘Xavvi B’ and ‘Xavvi M’, so being a Xavier isn’t going to make a child stand out here.

khaa2091 · 26/08/2023 09:17

I have a Loveday. It’s actually her middle name as the male members of the family persuaded me that I couldn’t inflict that on her. Despite this the only people who address her as Eleanor are the NHS…
For anyone else considering the name, my (Cornish) parents were at a drinks party the other day and there were 4 granddaughters called Loveday!

Longdarkcloud · 26/08/2023 13:17

@khaa2091 I love it but it is one of those names I wouldn’t be brave enough to use. Well done you!

I met a Mariola a few days ago. A very marmite name I’d guess.

Arras after the battle of arras. Don’t think it is due a revival ….
erylis - Welsh for snowdrop - nice though

The Welsh for snowdrop is Eirlys not Erylis.
It's from Eira (snow) and llys (plant)
