Really stuck with girls names.
Already have a Noah. Picked Jacob for another boy.
Stuck on girls names.....Opinions welcome on current ideas:

  • Adelaide (Makes me think of lovely sandy beaches, sunny, idyllic)
  • Juliet (son loves this one)
  • Summer (Speaks for itself)
  • Hermione (heard this recently, sounded nice. Maybe top Harry Potter. Too likely to be shortened?)
  • Iris (Greek and means Rainbow, but maybe too older lady?)
  • Eliana (related to Greek word Helios meaning Sun)
  • Olympia (bit out there, but something very attractive about this)
  • Lyra
  • Athena (very strong name, too much to live up to?)
Not really keen on biblical girls names. Quite like the Greek/Spanish/Summer influence. Thank you!

I meet a lot of people in my job - both adults and children and I have not yet met a Lyra - kinda like it

Also from your list like Athena

All lovely names however some are just not ones I would ever use myself. The two I like and would actually use are Juliet and Lyra

I really like Adelaide. I also like Addie. I think there are some advantages to having a name beginning with A as well.

I really like Iris. I don't know if it's too popular for some right now though.

Love Iris and Athena.

I knew an Olympia and she used to get called Limpy (as a nn not teasing)

Adelaide and Juliet

Juliet Athena

i think if your son really likes Juliet and you like it too you should use it. It would make him feel proud that he helped name her.
