We already have a daughter - Anna

My husband is set on the name Jenna for our second daughter. Is it too similar to Anna?

Thank you in advance.

Sorry it’s far too similar. You will get them
mixed up all the time and so will everyone else.
Gemma would be better. Other suggestions;

Eliza
Celia
Freya
Clara
Phillipa
Sarah

It is very similar sounding. You could go for Jennifer and have Jenna as a nn.

I feel like it is a little similar, obvious enough that if you were to say "This is Anna and this is Jenna" the double "n" would be known.

But if you both really love the name I don't think it'd be too bad to use as you could quite easily get by it. So if it's your favourite name, then use it, but it's probably best to find another.

Yes, Anna end Jenna are too a like.
You'll end up calling them both into tea - JANNA!

Anna is great, not keen on Jenna, and they are too similar.
Gemma is nicer and avoids the 'Janna' effect.

Yes. Also it’s too 80s/meh - a bit like Ashley or Lauren. I’d feel very shortchanged next to Anna If I were her - I think you meed something similarly classic and elegant like Julia, Caroline, Claudia, Stella, Lois, Clara, Sarah…
