I think this is a dreadful combo of names for a boy to be lumbered with.

I think Chip is actually the best part of the name. Ian and Gary sound so old and boring now.

Disney is silly as a name, I’d have thought there were loads of girls Disney character names that a die hard Disney fan would go for before just going with Disney.

I actually really like the sound of Disney as a girls name, I wouldn’t use it but it’s much better than a lot of names people use now.

I had enough of Chip by the time child number 4 was learning to read so I go with pretty much anything before Chip.

TrashyPanda · 18/03/2023 12:38

Poor kid called Disney

she disnae want such a daft name

AllAboutMargot · 18/03/2023 12:41

I misread the title as Chip Van Gary- the story of Gary who had dreams of buying his own van and travelling the world selling greasy burgers and chips.

SchoolTripDrama · 18/03/2023 13:31

Chip? As in 🍟?! Chip Ian?! Ian who loves chips!

FionnulaTheCooler · 18/03/2023 13:34

She missed a trick by not naming her second son Dale.

Chip. What a ridiculous name. At least Ian and Gary are names.

ourflagmeansdeath · 18/03/2023 15:04

Honestly if she loved Disney she could have gone for much more normal names still. There are so many options. I know a mum online who has daughters Riley and Bonnie which is beautiful imo.

KirstenBlest · 18/03/2023 15:10

Chip Van Gary sounds like my ideal man.

The children are sweet. Their names are not as outlandish as some very modern made up ones, to me.
I would have used.. Walter.
Walt Disney was amazing and his genius won't be missed on Disney Sarah who seems immersed already.
I love the name Morag.

I saw another article about a teenage girl who had been christened Kixxie but it was pronounced Kizzy and she was frustrated because everyone pronounced it 'wrong'. I suppose because of names like Xander and Xavier one should have known ...
