We are expecting our third baby boy, we have narrowed it down to 3. Thoughts on:

Griffin
Franklin
Theodore (nn Teddy)

Griffin or Franklin are both nice

Theodore is soooo overused and Teddie 🐻 is too childish

Theodore is already starting to sound a little dated. And your son would probably still need to add his surname initial as there are so many

Franklin - Frank is ok, don't like Franklin
Theodore (nn Teddy) - both awful and overused

Theodore is very popular I do love the nn Teddy tho

Griffin is the best by far. Griff is a warm, manly name too.

Theodore is more common.
Franklin is too American for me.

Griffin is lovely, my DH was almost named Griffin and he’s always wished he had been.

I really don’t like Franklin and Theodore/Theo/teddy has been done to death.

Franklin, NN Frank or Frankie. Theo is wet and Griffin a little silly (just my opinion). Congrats 💙

Not a fan of Theodore at all and am always surprised at its popularity!
Griffin and Franklin are nice, unusual but not out there

Gosh, I’m not going to be much help, as I really like all 3 of those!

PPs are right, though, that Theodore has become very well used in recent years, so you may want to give that one a swerve.

Griffin is probably the best. I like that it’s an imaginary beast.

Franklin - Least fav, just not keen on it
Theodore (nn Teddy) - My favourite, I know it's popular, but it's lovely. I do prefer Theo for a nickname, but Teddy's nice too

Anything but Theodore. So overused and not really that nice. Your other names are my taste but I’d choose them over Theodore.
