The name:

Nia / Niah

Nia - Nee-ah
Niah - Ny-ah

Nya.

But it's awfully close to Niamh so you may get some Neevs.

I'd pronounce both the same:

NEE-ah

Agree with this Nia like Lia. Niah like Maya.

Only if you are in Ireland.
As a Londoner I'd pronounce both as @BuffaloCauliflower suggested

Nia = Nee-uh as far as I know. I knew one years ago, she was Welsh.
Niah - never seen this before, so couldn't say.

Im Scottish and for both would guess Nee-ah.

Nia to rhyme with Mia and Gia etc.. Niah would give me pause and I'd think 'hmmmm, is it nee-a or nigh-a...' but I'd probably land on nee-a.

Nya would be nigh-a.

I'm Irish and I wouldn't pronounce either anything like Niamh.

I know one (spelt Nia) who is Welsh, so I assumed it was a Welsh name.

It's very pretty.

I'm thinking more about a misreading than an actual belief it's pronounced like Niamh.

Nyah I would assume nye-a again never seen before so guessing.
