Help needed ie names

We are due our baby girl in May and really struggling with a name that sounds right together with our surname McNulty, I would like Bessie as a middle name as it has meaning to me.
We love the name Hallie but is Hallie Bessie McNulty too many ie sounds?? Help please!

My advice would be if you have any doubts at all about a name/names then DON’T. The last thing you want is name regret.
IMO Hallie Bessie McNulty just doesn’t sound right.
How about Cassia Bess McNulty?

Hallie Elizabeth McNulty? Bessie can be a nn for Elizabeth. If not then I’d avoid 3 ‘ee’ sounds and go for something different as the first name.

Middle names aren't used much, but I wouldn't use three with an -ee sound ending.
I don't really like Hallie and it doesn't really go with your surname

I don't think Hallie goes with your surname I'm afraid! I don't think any name ending in ie, ee, ey etc would work, especially not with Bessie as a middle name, sorry!

@Charpolly , because you are concentrating on first names you like, and a middle name.

I think it's the lack of a strong consonant with the -ie in the first name.
Helen McNulty sound OK, as does Polly McNulty or Callie McNulty

Bess McNulty sounds great btw

Hallie Mcnulty is great but Hallie Bessie Mcnulty is def a mouthful - if you really do love it though, then it wouldn't matter too much as it's just a middle name.

Agree with PP that Hallie Elizabeth Mcnulty is lovely - still got Bessie in it! But you probably do just want Bessie.

Could Beth rather than Bessie be an alternative. Hallie Beth McNulty sounds gorgeous.
