Using a baby name with a bad meaning

We really like the name Lilith for a girl but when googling the meaning it's basically a demon in mythology. How much does this matter? I'm not massively bothered but don't want other people to judge so wondering if you think it's something you'd judge. Thanks!

Wasn't Frazier Crane's wide in Cheers called Lilith?

I was about to say the same !

Or Delilah ... apparently that's quite popular nowadays.

They're all lovely sounding names aren't they? The connotations connected, not so lovely.

It's such a pretty name, but I wouldn't personally. Normally don't care for meanings but Lilith is so well known! Sad as it's on my baby girl name list and really really pretty it's such a shame.

Dreadful

I don’t think meaning matters but Lilith is well known as a demonic character so I wouldn’t.

How about Lillian or Gwyneth?
