Alexandra? Love nickname Sasha too 🥰 A sister for Tabitha - do these names ‘go’? If not, what would you pair with Tabitha? (I know names don’t have to go, but it’s nice if they do!)

Love Sasha for a girl.

Thedogscollar · 08/02/2023 15:43

Alexandra is a beautiful name. I think it sounds lovely with Tabitha. Sacha is a nice name too, not only for a nickname.
Sorry not keen on the other 3 names you listed.

BridieConvert · 08/02/2023 15:44

Alexandra is lovely and classic. Don't see Sasha as a nickname from that but a lovely name in its own right. Like Imogen from your list too ☺️

I think Alexandra works with Tabitha, but prefer Anoushka. I think Alexandra goes with Tabitha cause it has uptight elegance, both Tabitha and Alexandra I fancy as British, it has much more British feel than "English" - you know, kind of like 19th Century British

Love Sasha in its own right.

Anoushka also classy.

FayCarew · 08/02/2023 19:38

Sasha is nice.
Anoushka is slightly too twee for my taste.
Imogen is fine
Margot is not to my taste, makes me think Maggot

Luredbyapomegranate · 08/02/2023 20:40

Yes very nice

I like Margot too, but it’s very popular. Imogen is OK, Anoushka is very fussy, especially on top of Tabitha.

Marianne, Adela, Claudia, Verity might be others

DramaAlpaca · 09/02/2023 00:15

Alexandra is maybe too classic to 'go' with Tabitha.

Anoushka would be better.

Viviennemary · 09/02/2023 00:28

Alexandra is a very nice name.

Roseyposeypudding · 09/02/2023 04:47

I prefer Anoushka as a full name, but love the nicknames for Alexandra. I worry Sasha might be too nicknamey as a full name?

I think Alexandra is a bit regal alongside Tabitha, a name that has imo a vibe of meadows full of wildflowers and left bank bookshops.

Sasha has the same sort of vibe.

Not keen on Margot - it's a bit of a clunky name with shades of escargot and maggots.

I really dislike the clunkiness of Imogen, and Immy is an unattractive abbreviation imo.

Imogene otoh has a bit of pizazz.

mathanxiety · 09/02/2023 20:04

Anoushka would go well with Tabitha.

Absolutely not too nicknamey. I know one and it's a perfectly good name in its own right.
