Accrington Stanley for a boy!

Bensonbluebird · 07/02/2008 19:49

Met a little boy called Malo recently, which I thought was lovely. Lewis and Harris also good for boys. I'd be tempted by Leith for a boy if we didn't live there.

Great Uncle Bulgaria.

My brother's SIL has 3DCs: Arran, Islay, Iona
She fancies having twins Harris and Lewis next!
As long as she stops short of Eigg and Rhum I think they're nice names - we wanted Iona for our DS but there are only 3 months between them.

All the wombles were named by putting a pin in an atlas.

America the continent was named after a person though; Amerigo Vespucci.

I read that Florence Nightingale was named that because her parents spent their honeymoon there. Then the name became popular when she became famous. She was the Brooklyn Beckham of her day.

Yorky · 07/02/2008 21:02
