Alexander or Leonard?

Just that-which do you prefer please? I think Leonard would probably be known as Lenny or Len by us and Alexander as his full name or Ally. Though I know they’ll be whatever their friends choose at school etc.

Alexander. Apologies to all Leonards, especially the shade of Leonard Cohen, but it's a name I really don't like. I don't know why.

Leonard! It's a great name, and sounds refreshingly cool compared to Alexander, which to me is a boring plain name (sorry to all the Alexanders out there).
