I don’t like it but it seems to be everywhere at the moment. I know of 3 born since October and that’s just in our circle of friends, acquaintances and employees.

ouch321 · 21/01/2023 10:52

Makes me think of Margot Frank

staciea31 · 21/01/2023 10:55

Aw thanks guys , Also love noa but that’s becoming more popular too list is

margot
noa
alba
miller
merrin

with either one of those middle names as those names will be in honour of my nan or grandad

Miller & Merrin sound awful for a little girl, sorry. Surnames, I know a Labrador called Miller.

Alba is nice.

VerbenaGirl · 21/01/2023 10:58

I really like Margot. Merrin is also nice.

staciea31 · 21/01/2023 10:58

Thanks guys

Miller is a last name, at a push a dog name. But the rest are quite nice.

staciea31 · 21/01/2023 11:01

Thank you guess miller is ruled out dp hates it haha

I like Margot Jenna.

staciea31 · 21/01/2023 12:24

Thank you , that is one of my favourites from the list Jenna would be after my late gran who I was incredibly close to

Margot Jenna as it means something special to you. Margot Alanna sounds to me a little bit like ‘go alone’ but then middle names are rarely used and she will be Margot Surname 99% of the time.

staciea31 · 21/01/2023 13:57

Yeah I prefer Jenna over Alana to a middle name for Margot my grandad is named Alan so thought Alana to honour him but Jenna sounds better thanks guys

Not keen on Margot but it’s very popular so I must be in a minority. Noa is lovely. Miller I’ve only known to be for a boy. I know a little girl called Merryn which is lovely and I prefer the Y spelling. Jenna is beautiful. Margot Jenna does flow nicely though

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 21/01/2023 14:19

Going back a few years, I'd have thought any little Margot had a ballet fan for a parent, but it's really popular now. It sounds nicer with Jenna than Alana to me.

(I'd avoid Alba Jenna though, it sounds like a Spanish holiday resort!)

Mamoun · 21/01/2023 14:20

I LOVE Margot !

staciea31 · 21/01/2023 14:22

Thanks everyone 😊

Merrin is pretty. Margot is lovely but feels a bit cliched now.

Jenna as a first name is lovely.

Shoogly · 21/01/2023 16:11

Jenna Margot ❤️

staciea31 · 21/01/2023 16:55

Ooh I like that 😍 thanks

I like them!

Would assume Merryn as spelling so a girl but honestly don't let popularity put you off....plenty of Olivers because it is nice but know I'd rather not.

Decide if its deal breaker for you x

MrsXx4 · 21/01/2023 17:27

Jenna Margot is such a cute name!

I love the name Margot but personally I wish it was just spelt Margo lol

I've seen too many people say it makes them think of maggot and now I do it myself!

staciea31 · 21/01/2023 17:35

Thanks guys appreciate the opinions x
