Remy?

I love the name Remy for my baby boy, but a few people have said oh you're naming it after the rat from Disney? Which didn't even cross my mind when I thought of the name tbh. I don't want him to get bullied just because I like the name 😂 opinions please?

Hah wouldn’t have occurred to me. I’ve met two boys named Remy, both about 6 or 7 now. Don’t think anybody’s mentioned the rat.

It actually reminded me of remy in House (also known as 13).

I quite like it but I once knew a parrot called Remy named after brandy.

I was under impression it was boys name, but I totally understand why some people might think girl instead.
I love it, and have it as potential middle name.

I have it as middle name for longer boy name, and if I ever use it, it would be on boy.

Brandy for me - but I don’t think many kids would have that association.

DC has a Remy in her class at school. As far as I know he’s never been bullied for it

A friend of DS1 is called Remy and she gets asked the rat question all the time.

It’s definitely a boy’s name but some people in UK/US use it as a girl’s name which I find so bizarre. Expecting a boy and this name is at the top of our list too 😁
