ooh VintageG, thanks for reminding me of that joke. My Boo loves knock knock jokes and will be thrilled to know there is one with 'her' name in it!

Good, Slouchy! I had to make one up featuring my DS. It's rubbish but he loves that it uses his name!

My friend's dd is called boo as a nickname.

3andnomore · 05/02/2008 14:39

Hm, is Boo actually a real name, lol...I know Beau is a boys name and Bo (as in Bo Derek) is a girls name...but Boo?

ahundredtimes · 05/02/2008 14:41

I know a Blue.

BroccoliSpears · 05/02/2008 14:41

I like Boo for a name. It's sweet for a little girl but not too soppy for a teen or an adult.

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 05/02/2008 14:41

There is a Boo on Monsters Inc if that helps... so her parents have a child with that name

nappyaddict · 05/02/2008 14:41

not sure ... i know a few people have used it as a middle name, but i don't know anyone yet who has used it as a first name. some great great great aunt in our family had it as a middle name.

What was Bubble's little lost twin called? Was he/she Boo? (sorry for not remembering if a boy or agirl and possibly getting name wrong.. )

Wolfgirl · 05/02/2008 14:44

both my LO's are called baba boo. When I havent seen them for a while, or say... in the morning when they wake up, I screech out, ""where's my babba boooooooo's" they love it. and my DS now 4, loves it when I tell him about his days when he was a tiny newborn baba boo.

way too sentimental, but heck... making the most of it while I can.

fryalot · 05/02/2008 14:44

Dd2's nickname is Boo.

Kind of wanted to make it her real, actual name but didn't quite have the nerve. Wish I had though.

scottishmummy · 05/02/2008 14:49

jamie Oliver has a daisy boo

littlerach · 05/02/2008 14:51

100x, I know a Blue too.
Well, a couple of years ago I did.

RosaLuxOnTheBrightSideOfLife · 05/02/2008 14:52

I think I would have disowned me parents if they had called me Boo. A name that is a ready-made joke for school and will prevent you from being taken seriously at work. It's downright cruel.

CountessDracula · 05/02/2008 14:57

I know a Boo

She is in her 30s though. It is her real name too. Rather suits her in a sloaney sort of way

I used to work with someone called boo.I love it and she was lovely

HonoriaGlossop · 05/02/2008 18:58

Have to agree with Rosa Lux.

It's ok as a nickname for a little girl. that's about it though.

devonsmummy · 05/02/2008 20:12
