Girls name that meets crazy criteria

TTC baby number 3, boys name is already picked but we really struggle with girls. We have a bit of a criteria for names, they have to be heard of but not overused, 5 letters and 2 syllables. Middle name will be Rebekah.
Some names that we like but don’t feel like the one are Carys, Cindy, Dinah, Heidi, Mavis and Moira.
Any ideas?

Why, if you don't mind me asking? Seems very restrictive and I can't think of any possible scenario where this would be a necessity!

Our eldest DC’s name follow this pattern and we’d just like to continue it

Cerys rather than Carys?

paganpath · 15/01/2023 16:54

Just going through them with DH, we like Junie, Katya, Cerys and Hazel. Another name that we like is Circe but I forgot to include that in the first list.

I heard the name Cali recently and thought it was nice. I think it can be spelled many different ways so probably with 5 letters.

I would try and choose a name that you love though without the criteria. It will be nice to tell DD2 that she had the name you loved the most, rather than a name that's fine but got used because it matched her sister's name!

This seems bonkers. Wouldn't you prefer it if your next children had names you genuinely chose because you liked them just as you did with their sibling instead of because they fit into some arbitrary criteria created soley based on the length of first child you named.

Give them a name you like rather than one you've chosen to fit this bizarre pattern.

I heard of a Maeva recently.
