We like these two for boys. Any thoughts?

Caspar is the original spelling but will he get Casper all of the time?

Also which of these two is better: Liara or Eliara (the i sounds like ee in Liara, lee-ah-ra)

Caspian is more a dignified name. Caspe/ar reminds me of the ghost.

Thanks! Are there more people who’d like to comment?

we were also thinking Charlie (boy)

I prefer Caspian and Liara (although I don't really like either).

Bobbybobbins · 03/01/2023 11:49

Prefer Eliaria of the girls' names. Like Charlie better than Caper or Caspian.

I prefer Caspian - Caspar is a bit friendly ghost to me.

Are Liara & Eliara real names? When I look them up all I get is a video game character. I prefer the simpler Lara to be honest, or Eliana.

Caspian makes me think of ‘Caspian Sea’, I’d go for Caspar / Casper

I'd go for Caspar because it has a bit of a history. I was put off by Caspian

Butterfingers!

I was put off by Caspian because it seemed pretty 'new' and only in usage because of CS Lewis.

Caspar
Charles - Charley I prefer. Charlie and Charley are nicknames of the handsome name, Charles. People will assume the full name is Charles.

Liara - too much like liar
Eliara - better to me
Do you like Eloise?

I like Caspian for a boy!
Not a fan of your girl names sorry!

I love Caspian and Caspar! If lean towards Caspian I think, depending on your surname.

Liara is slightly bette than Eliara (but I'm not a fan of either one really)
