I'm due a baby boy quite soon and we haven't found a name we have loved. Names that have come up so far have been..

Ray
Jude
Raphael
George

We already have Pearl and Gabriel so something that would go well with their names. Would appreciate any suggestions!

Pearl and Gabriel are lovely.

another name ending in L would be nice.

Raphael, Marcel. Daniel, Emil. Cecil, Campbell.

Oh thank you for so many replies! A few I loved but my partner doesn't came up such as Caspar and Jonah came up. I will show him all the suggestions when he gets home!

Pearl is pretty religious - it’s used symbolically in early English literature.

I said biblical, not religious.

Religious names do not necessarily equate with biblical - specifically Old Testament names.

Not Raphael - it's a lovely name but feels like a bit of a cliche/too matchy-matchy with Gabriel to me.

I vote for Jude! Pearl, Gabe and Jude - beautiful.

As you and others have said, Raphael is a bit matchy with Gabriel.

George and Ray don’t sit well with Pearl and Gabriel.

Raphael is only biblical in certain flavours of Christianity! I agree with pp that it’s too much with Gabriel. Michael would work if you wanted another archangel, however.

I know a very lovely Gabriel with brothers named Elijah, Josiah, and Jacob.
