Do you like Angelica, nickname Annie? (Wouldn’t get shortened to Angie - we live abroad where it’s always shortened to Annie and Ang- started names aren’t a thing - they don’t work in the language.)

I’d just go for Ann and take it from there. It’s quite saccharine.

RambamThankyouMam · 27/12/2022 08:51

Call her Angelica and let the nicknames evolve naturally. Lovely name!

Gwdihooooo · 27/12/2022 08:51

Reminds me of the brat out of rugrats 🙈

Whatwhatwhatnow · 27/12/2022 08:54

I love it. It was on my list.

Consufed · 27/12/2022 09:05

I like it. It's much nicer than Angelina.

LizzieBet14 · 27/12/2022 09:07

I'd go for Annie as a stand alone name.

Gillyx · 27/12/2022 09:23

I like it and know of a Geli which is quite nice too

Penguinsaregreat · 27/12/2022 09:27

It’s a lot to live up to. I’d just call her Annie.

Yeah me too. It’s an unshakeable connotation in my head. Im probably not the only thirty something to feel that way.

shame as it’s a pretty flower.

PritiPatelsMaker · 27/12/2022 10:24

I like it but then I'm probably too old for Rugrats Grin

toastofthetown · 27/12/2022 10:29

Angelicaaaaa. Eliiiiza. And Peggy.

I like Angelica, though not the obvious nicknames.

I like it! Makes me think of Anjelica Huston (slightly different spelling), who's a terrific actress.
