Son having same initials as dad

Would it be inconvenient for a son to have the same initials as his dad? Both first and middle names different to his but same first letters? Just wondering if post will always be confusing etc! Blush

My partner and his brother have same initials and post was a nightmare when they were still at home! Especially for things like DVLA letters or HMRC ones but then they're similar age so they'd get similar sorts of post
Might not be as bad for a dad and son? And especially for when your son is older most of it will be online I would have thought?

I have the same first three letters as my mum and it made me feel special. No problem at all with letters. My mum is a Dr and i'm a Miss

My daughter and I have the same initials and it’s a pain.

It’s not a huge deal but it will be annoying with post

My daughter has the same initials as her dad. In this instance not a pain as you have a Miss and a Mr. Male cousin has same name as his dad so dad is always Mr John Smith Snr 😂

I have the same initials as DM. We were always opening each others post when I lived at home.

My husband has this, he found it very frustrating in terms of post. Especially when they accidentally opened each other’s statements!!

I think it’s fine - by the time your son is old enough to receive important letters ie: age 16, I highly doubt anything will be sent through the post anymore! It will all be online, I barely do anything by post now if I can help it!

It's fine. I have the same initials as my dad and one sibling, occasionally we opened each others post but it wasn't an issue.
