as a NN for Francesca (birth certificate) is my front runner for DD1 due in 3 weeks. I stupidly started googling and read a thread that it is too boyish for a girl?
Please help us feel better as this had become our little girls name

Go for it! I have a Frankie (Francesca on birth certificate) and the other 3 Frankie's we know are all female.

My mum (in her 70s) is a Frankie. To me it will always be a girls name.

It’s a lovely name and very much a girls name. Love Francesca too.
