Now. I’m not one to ever judge baby names, infact I don’t think I’ve very judged a baby name before now, but this one has tested me today.

Wōdnesdæg would've been more interesting.

DH wanted to call DD B'e'Lanna but we knew the apostrophes wouldn't be allowed. So how did the registrar let this couple get away with those names.

Good thing he didn't, what's with the rogue extra apostrophe? (I assume he meant B'Elanna)Grin

CrispyEgg · 09/12/2022 12:59

What a load of shiaight.

NeuroticAgain · 09/12/2022 13:00

When older baby can changer hee name to nickname or spell it the proper way :) It’s a beautiful name but the spelling is ………different

Theunamedcat · 09/12/2022 13:04

That spelling is interesting

What is Jack's syn?

Atethehalloweenchocs · 09/12/2022 13:26

Do you think sometimes people think that is how things are spelled? Those names are awful.

Ittybittytittycomittee · 09/12/2022 13:27

no words!

Do you mean B’Elanna like in Star Trek?

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 09/12/2022 13:48

I didn’t even realise their surname was Adams

A'igh-dymm>z, I presume you mean?

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 09/12/2022 13:50

To paraphrase Stewart Francis: "You know who really gives children a bad name? These two!"

If you don't want a lifetime of buying your children off-the-peg personalised tat, you can always just say No, you realise?

kingtamponthefurred · 09/12/2022 12:24

Maybe he's both.

🤣🤣

bibbiddybobbidyboo · 09/12/2022 14:14

Exactly how I pictured the Mum

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 09/12/2022 14:41

Nooooo, they just like to think they're being Yoouneeeekque.

Pronounced 'Eunice'.

Bananalanacake · 09/12/2022 14:42

Errol, Flapjack, yes, he's a Star Trek fan and loved the name B'Elanna, (didn't realise I'd added an extra apostrophe). Gave her the more normal name Lana.

PurpleButterflyWings · 09/12/2022 14:43

😂

WinterLobelia · 09/12/2022 14:46

Wednesdaigh Adams. If the child has the same surname as the mother.

That's just - well- [shakes head].

Usernamesarenoteasy · 09/12/2022 12:17

It took me a while to realise he was the husband and not the oldest child he looks so much like the mum!

Me too. And then I thought he looked like her lesbian life sister wife.

TooHotToRamble · 09/12/2022 14:48

Ma’Kynnleigh, Wednesdaigh, Emma’Leigh and Jaxx’syn

Oh dear. I really don't like to judge but this is testing......

Apart from the obvious. What's with all the apostrophes?!? And why has poor Wednesdaigh not been deemed apostrophe worthy.

And how long I wonder is going to take the poor children before they can spell their names?

I have a reasonably unusual name (nothing like these) and spend my life spelling it...they are going to have to produce cards, the hours they will lose out of their lives spelling and re spelling their name over the phone! Although I suspect they might change their names as soon as they are able to!

WinterLobelia · 09/12/2022 14:50

I went to school with a Wednesday. Brilliant name. Brilliant girl.

But this.... [shakes head again]

as a pp said- it's really something when that is the best name of the bunch.

walnutmarzipan · 09/12/2022 14:53

Maybe he's both.

Omg 🤣🤣🤣

TooHotToRamble · 09/12/2022 15:30

Is that definitely the Dad, he really looks like her younger brother!?!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 09/12/2022 15:35

In that Sun article she talks about her 2021 baby and her 2022 baby, and from the dates they were clearly about 12 months apart. I hope she's not planning to have one a year for the foreseeable future. The older two look extremely young as well. Poor kids. Are they British? The article says nothing about where they live.

And…?

SuperCamp · 09/12/2022 15:45

I am hoping some serious investigative journalist tracks down the head of the local school for her comments, as she is painted as the villain in this horror story.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 09/12/2022 15:50

Yes, I noticed that! Is the whole thing culled from a Facebook page, do you think? I notice that the pictures are credited to the mother.
