Now. I’m not one to ever judge baby names, infact I don’t think I’ve very judged a baby name before now, but this one has tested me today.

Even if Wednesday was spelled correctly, can you imagine the piss that kid's going to get taken out of her with the surname Adams?

iklboo · 09/12/2022 12:08

The woman should change her own name to Tw'att't

Yaigh!

Bravoh!!

WalkingThroughTreacle · 09/12/2022 12:08

It's cursing the child to a life of having to repeatedly spell her name out for everybody. As for the names with apostrophes, that's a whole new level of nonsense. Does she realise how many electronic forms her kids will struggle with because they won't accept special characters in name fields?

curlymacv · 09/12/2022 12:10

It's so bad that Wednesdaigh is actually the most reasonably named child😂

I un-ironically like Wednesday, but probably not with Adams surname!

Boooooot · 09/12/2022 12:14

I didn’t even realise their surname was Adams 🤣

It took me a while to realise he was the husband and not the oldest child he looks so much like the mum!

Lesserspottedmama · 09/12/2022 12:19

At least they can change their names one day… can’t change their gene pool sadly.

Maybe he's both.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 09/12/2022 12:25

It really says something when it turns out the name Wednesdaigh is actually the best out of their kids' names.

BiscuitLover3678 · 09/12/2022 12:26

Eh Ive seen worse. Prefer it to nahvayugh

MeJane · 09/12/2022 12:26

I once taught a Wedensday.

It drove me completely batty. We couldn't have anything on the walls or anything with children's names on or they would never learn to spell actual Wednesday.

MerryChristmasToYou · 09/12/2022 12:27

Why didn't they go for the Wennz'daigh spelling?

gaf · 09/12/2022 12:27

Fucking hell. Some people are just stupid.

Bestcatmum · 09/12/2022 12:27

My black cat was born on Halloween and even she didn't get a stupid name like that. Wednesday is fine but with the daft spelling just no.
My cat's full name is All Hallows Eve, so just Eve or Evie when shouting it out of the back door 😂

Flapjackquack · 09/12/2022 12:30

I know it’s (probably) pronounced the same as Wednesday but with that spelling my brain is insisting on Wed-nes-daigh

Blueuggboots · 09/12/2022 12:34

Stupid fucking morons.

SirChenjins · 09/12/2022 12:35

That's classeigh that is. Her teachers will dine out on that name for years to come Grin

ShirleywasaLady · 09/12/2022 12:35

Herejustforthisone · 09/12/2022 10:08

But Halloween was on a Monday…

Haffiana · 09/12/2022 12:37

I hate it when people mess up classic names like this. It should be Weghdneghsdai'gh which is a perfectly sensible, good name.

Winterfellismyhome · 09/12/2022 12:42

The parents should change their names to Kay'Teigh & Deigh'vid

Bananalanacake · 09/12/2022 12:45

DH wanted to call DD B'e'Lanna but we knew the apostrophes wouldn't be allowed. So how did the registrar let this couple get away with those names.

MerryChristmasToYou · 09/12/2022 12:49

@Winterfellismyhome , not K'8eigh and Daigh''vvyd?

WarriorsComeOutToPlayaaay · 09/12/2022 12:52

The parents look the same! Is this a wind up and it’s the same person?
