Balthazar or Balto for short... Do we like it?

I'm still loving Balthazar peeps 🤣 and now thinking Bar Bar or Zar Zar is quite cute for a kick name? I can hear most of you laughing from here 😂😂😂

You can obviously call him whatever you like. The only person who will have to deal with the consequences is him.

My parents gave my DB an "unusual" name along similar lines to Balthazar and it has been a millstone round his neck all his life. He hates it, hates having to spell it, hates the sniggers and questions and general reactions every single time he has to give his name. He was bullied at school over it. There's no decent nickname and I don't know why he hasn't just changed it as an adult. I know he's considered it.

Not meaning to be inflammatory but just pointing out there is another side to "if you love it that's all that matters".

I think Zar Zar is a great name for a baby. When he’s older he can be Zar.
