Please help - girls names, unusual, but not too modern/unique names

Hi all, please help me with girls names!

We have a shortlist but cannot agree on a favourite so wondering if a name is still out there to be discovered!

We like names that are not used frequently, and some older names, names with two or more syllables, names like Astrid or Elowen, Cecelia etc.

Looking forward to hearing some I’ve not thought of!

@DoraDee , look up the name on darkgreener or ONS. The figures are only for England & Wales.

If you look at Astrid, the number is still low, but it is rising in popularity quickly - and why not, it's a great name.

The ONS baby names has a name by region feature that is useful.
You can look up how popular the name was in your area last year.
For example, you might not know any Amelias at all, but it might just not be popular in your area.

Not sure how you are defining unusual, but these names are all outside the top 300. It might also be worth considering that if popularity is important to you then while Elowen is unusual, El- names are ten a penny so Elowen won't feel distinct in a classroom with Ellie, Eliza, Ella, Elodie, Elsie etc. Also worth considering how the name is trending. The Darkgreener website is great for visualising whether names are rising in popularity and maybe names to avoid, liek Astrid which is rising quickly at the moment.
