Please help!! I am so stuck and hate everything- Honour is such a strong but pretty name and to me nothing compares to it.
We had Hugo and Roman on our Boys list but just found out shes going to be a girl and have nothing!!
I really like Amorae but had some bad responses.

I immediately thought Serena or Esther. Also Farrah, but not sure it goes as well with Honor/Honour if that bother you.

Honour, not Honor??

Why Honor? I assume OP is British not American

Because it’s got nothing to do with the verb “honour”, so American or English doesn’t come into it.

I also thought of Amalia. It's quite unusual but a very international name.

So you can see that the name is Honor, not Honour.

Bluevelvetsofa · 27/11/2022 12:00

There was an actress called Greer Garson many years ago.

Greer?

So you can see that the name is Honor, not Honour.

Because it's been Americanised. It's a virtue name, makes sense to use the UK spelling in the UK.

Honor is my actual name. It's from the Latin, rather than English. Please don't go for a 'unique' spelling. I get great feedback on my name - but it's the name, not some made up version of it.

Your DD1 is Honour Isabelle so let DD2 be Isabelle Honour.
