Help pick baby boy name - arriving on Fri

DS arriving via planned c section on Friday- please can you give opinions/fave names from this list (Remy and Francis being current front runner)

The only one I remotely don't hate is Edward. All the others look like you are trying too hard. Sorry.

Edward definitely my favourite.

Francis is quite religious sounding to me - my first thought it Pope. Also pronounced the same for boys and girls ans apparently boys can be affected negatively by having a unisex name such as Ashley www.csmonitor.com/Science/2010/0614/Baby-names-have-long-lasting-effects-for-better-or-worse... Could also be an issue for Remy.

Others sound a little silly to me sorry. Felix will always be a cartoon cat to me I think!

The rest I'm not really fond of. Lorenzo and Laszlo will just be awkward if you have no cultural background to go with it.

Francis is a fab name.

Issues with unisex names go both ways. My mum is Frances (names after her father Francis) and has had a few interesting moments. Like being put on a men's ward when in hospital for a gynae procedure .... it's a risk you take.

But now you have a lost, wait and see what he looks like and then decide.
