I know a Lucien who is Loo-shun, a Lucia who is Loo-chee-a and a Lucienne who is Loo-see-en. Sometimes I have to pause to get them all the right way round.

I would expect either loo-see-uhn or loo-shuhn. I've heard both. Lucian Freud was a loo-see-uhn (I think).

I would pronounce Lucien the French way if the individual also had a French surname.
