Posting for a friend

My friend is Italian as is her partner, but they live
in the uk. She wants opinions on this Italian name for her son.

Think it's lovely

Toooldtoworry · 30/10/2022 20:15

I love it, but my family are sicilian.

Chickenpeppers · 30/10/2022 20:17

Isn't it a brand of Beer?

misstilly · 30/10/2022 20:21

I love it, slightly biased though as ds is Santino

Luredbyapomegranate · 30/10/2022 21:25

It’s fine.

Might be a bit odd with no Italian roots.

midsomermurderess · 30/10/2022 23:46

Having Italian parents might be construed as having Italian roots.

misteriosa · 31/10/2022 01:09

I think it's a good name.

Isn't the older brother in the Godfather called Santino?

Autumnisclose · 31/10/2022 01:42

It's fine. Given the parents are Italian no one is going to think anything of the name.

OzziePopPop · 31/10/2022 01:45

Lovely, easy for the Brits to pronounce and spell but still a solid Italian name 😀

melchim · 31/10/2022 01:58

Really nice name.

Geamhradh · 31/10/2022 13:21

Very rare in Italy (only 8 born in the last year the records have been published for, which is 2020)
Means "little Saint" which is a bit twee.

Enko · 31/10/2022 23:35
