Seb or Gabriel?

Which do you prefer?
Seb would be registered as Sebastian but we’d call him Seb x

Gabriel by a country mile. I'm not fond of Sebastian, but Seb is ghastly.

Gabriel. Sebastian is a great name but Seb is awful.

I don't like either of them, sorry. Gabriel is the better of the two, but it will be shortened. Gab or Gabe?

Seb sounds like a dandruff shampoo. Gabriel is an archangel ( please don’t call him Gab, though, I suppose Gabe would be okay).

I love them both, inched slightly ahead is Gabriel.

These were our shortlisted two names for DS2. Then DSis got engaged to someone called Gabriel so that made our decision for us! Both good names. Seb is quite popular in my DC's school years.

Seb is awful. Sounds so oily (sebaceous) and unfinished!

Gabriel is a lovely name. Travels well too.

I don't like Seb at all. It doesn't sound like a 'name' to me, more of a sound.
