Please name my baby boy!

Please help! Less than 1 month until baby boy arrives and no name still 🤦‍♀️

Ideally we’d love a name that is slightly unique yet classy.

Trying to avoid names ending in ‘A’ and ‘ER’ as they clash with our surname.

Some of the names we love but can’t go with as friends/family have already

  • Rupert
  • Otto
  • Luca
  • Wilf (Wilfred)
  • Sebastian
  • Reuben

Some names that are potentially still in the mix but we’re not madly in love with

  • Nicolo
  • Jenson
  • Orlando
  • Jaques

We have ties to Italy, Germany, France and Ireland as well as living in England.

Name suggestions much appreciated!!!!

Dominic would work in all those languages. Not unique but sensible and nice. You’d just have to agree on the spelling.

Dominic sounds feminine (Dominique) in French.

If you want a name that's "slightly unique" or even just a bit different then avoid the top 100 names for starters
names like Reuben and Rory are very popular /overused so really don't fit your criteria. I know about 15 of them.
Get a list of the official top 100 names and avoid them all @LittleMrsMama

@bloominglovelyorange completely agree. This is what we did, although I think we said not in the top 30 and looked over a number of years. We didn't want our DS to be the 5th 'Max' in the school.

Both my DS have 3 Henry's and 3 James' in their class

So many great suggestions! Thank you all! I’ll share them with DH!

Not keen on Heston it is too caught up in the chef for me and it sounds like a surname.
