Asher - 7/10 super cute
Caspar -8/10 great choice but I prefer with a K
Caspian - 9/10 I’ve always loved this! DS1 had a Caspian in his year and it’s just lovely:
Idris - 9/10 always loves this. Makes me think of happy times in wales growing up
Judah - 5/10 lovely name and I like I to one of the lesser used biblical ones but I’m not fond of Jude which would be an obvious NN

Arietta - 9/10 cute and unusual
Aurelia - 4/10 just not a fan. Lots of girls called this where we live, not bothered by popularity just don’t like it the more I hear it
Eadlin/Eadlyn - 2/10
River 5/10 - cute but most rivers I’ve met are boys so I always think it’s a boys name
Seren - 9/10 such a great choice. Timeless

Only Caspar and Aurelia. I won’t pass comment on the rest.

With Idris, people may presume you are a massive fan of the actor. When asking your son what his name is, the reply is likely to be “Like Elba?” It will become tedious for him.

I don’t really like any of them, sorry. On the whole they’re all a bit try hard.

I have an Asher, so I'm biased! Can't say I'm keen on any of the others though.

0 to 3 out of 10 for all of them except Seren, sorry.

I'd give Seren a 5 out of 10.

Eadlin/Eadlyn - not seen or heard it before. I'd probably hear it as Evelyn (eev-lin)
River - I'd think she was a boy
Seren - don't like it

Caspian is the clear winner of the boys' names, Caspar a close second
I don't like any of the girl's names

I contradicted myself. Caspian and Caspar both nice, but Caspar loses marks because of the misspelling potential.

Aurelia is the best of the girl's names but I don't like it much - too similar to Amelia, Oreelia/Owrailya/Oraylia ...

All 0/10 except Seren 6/10.

Asher - 7/10. It’s nice and classic, but merges with all the Ashleighs etc.
Caspar - 7.5/10 Love it, but prefer Jasper and there’s always the friendly ghost association.
Caspian - 9/10 Very very handsome!
Idris - 4/10 I just don’t like it, sorry.
Judah - 8/10 Classic. But Jude I LOVE.

Arietta - 8/10. Really cool, better than Harriet.
Aurelia - 8/10 So sophisticated, which pronunciation would you use?
Eadlin/Eadlyn - 2/10. Awful. Evelyn is so much better.

All these I’d give 5/10 neither of them captivate me in anyway. I like Jude for a boy though.

Arietta - hadn’t heard this before so googled it - I prefer Aria but I’d give this 6/10
Aurelia - Pretty but it’s being so over done now but still 8/10
Eadlin/Eadlyn - another one I haven’t heard of before so googled it and it means princess which is very sweet but I do think it would be misheard as Evelyn 6/10
River - I actually prefer river for a girl over it being used as a boys name which is seems is more commonly done - 7/10
Seren - gorgeoussssss, lovely meaning too 10/10

Caspian 5 ok, but reminds me of the sea
Idris 4 associate it strongly with Elba
Judah 1 strongly dislike (like Jonah though)

Never heard of Eadlin and prefer jonah to judah.

River - 1/10 - naff, low rent
Seren - 7/10 - quite like it, but like Ffion and Olwen better. Or maybe Arran or Aislinn. There are also quite a lot of them.

Asher is real, yes. It's Hebrew - I'm Jewish, so I know a lot of them (aside from my own Asher).
