I have a bit of a short list… What are peoples thoughts?

Philippa
Annalise
Annabelle
Catherine
Gwendolyn
Charlotte
Imogen
Caitlin

Any suggestions of other names?

Philippa - an underused name, I quite like it
Annalise - Also quite like. Anna is nice for short
Annabelle - A bit more popular if that matters. Nice diminutive again
Catherine - Popular but I love this name. Even before the Princess of Wales I felt it was a classy sounding name. Not keen on Cath or Cathy though
Gwendolyn - Harsh sounding to my ear
Charlotte - lovely but very, very popular
Imogen - I've never liked this name. Nickname Immy?
Caitlin - Possibly lots of people will spell this wrong. Makes me think of Jenner.

Lots of classic names there. How about

Rachel
Rebecca
Alice
Elizabeth

Theoldwoman · 15/10/2022 00:46

Charlotte is my favourite.

Geraldine

I love Charlotte. Love the book Charlottes web and fell in love with the name. Dh vetoed the name. He said it was too posh! 😂😂

I work in early years and have a Lottie in our group and she is just the loveliest little girl.

mathanxiety · 15/10/2022 01:11

I'm not sure any of them really go with Stephanie / Stevie.

Stephanie is a lovely 60s - 70s name with a rock vibe and the ideas you have are all contemporary and more classic.

Suggestions:
Caroline ( though very Monaco royal family)
Rosanna
Rhiannon (combined names very Fleetwood Mac)
Cecelia (Simon &Garfunkel song)
Hollie
Marianne
Alison

Stevie and Pippa sounds lovely and would have been my first thought for sure. But Phillippa - I’m not a fan of boys names with an A whacked on the end. Think Gwen is sooooooo cool and works well with Stevie.

I feel the same. Love Pippa and Stevie but not 100% sold on Philippa.
I LOVE Gwen but it’s DHs least favourite - he said it makes him think of an 90 year old 🙄

Josephine was one of DHs favourites for DD1. Not sure why we didn’t think of it straight away this time

Really like Juliet and Naomi

How lovely to have a Stephanie. I think Philippa goes really well with Stephanie.

From your list I'd choose Philippa.

The Stephanie I know has a sister called Erica :)
