Baby middle name help!

we are looking for a middle name for a daughter, the first name hasn’t been decided but we are looking for something 6 letters or under. I love the name Mercy for a middle name as it is a family name but my partner isnt sure. I need opinions!

As other people ask, would you like to have that as your name? Mercy is okay, but it wouldn’t be what I would want as my middle name! I like all your first names but if you do pair it with a more unusual middle name like Mercy I would go with Sophia, Alyssa or Jenna.

Marcy is better than mercy.

@Billylilly I agree, the names ending in 'a' run better with Mercy.

I'm afraid Sierra reminds me mostly of the phonetics used by emergency services ..... Romeo, Sierra, Tango .... but, it's not only that because it also reminds me of the Sierra car, so beloved by fathers across these isles !

Definitely not Bailey or Hallie with mercy there's too much eee sound.

I like middle names to mean something, like a family name, rather than just a random name.
I was talked into a random middle name for my first, and have always regretted it.

Mercia is a variant and means mercy- could make a pretty middle name? Obviously only works for some of your first names but it sounds like you like the -ia ending.

Mercy doesn’t work with Hallie or Bailey. My favourite from yours is Sophia Mercy.
