Also love H names -

It doesn’t fit any of your criteria but it seems to fit the other two.

Would you have Harriet if you already have a Henry? Essentially the same name?

Personally I don't find that to be an issue but can see how others may not like it

Delphine - pinched from another poster who is using it as a middle name. So Camille, Henry and Delphine go well together.

MissHavershamReturns · 02/10/2022 22:53

I would personally avoid names close to what you have. Definitely wouldn’t like Harriet and Henry.

May, Charlotte and James are nice but a bit dull and overused right now.

Emma and Hermione are nice and go well, Bridget is nice but had a different tone to your kids’ names. Cormac is Ok.

You can’t really have Henry and Harriet - he may well end up nick named Harry in future (you can’t control that) and neither of them will be happy with you then.

Thank you.

I feel that a lot of people are getting fixated on the Henry/Harriet thing and that really wasn't my intention, just a suggestion of what I like to help with finding similar names!

Celeste and Camille were my dream girl names but I had 2 boys!

I like Rueben and Austin with your other names.

Interestingly, I feel like all the suggestions here fit with my Nameberry "DNA" which is Charmer/Leader names^^ (i.e. friendly, down to earth, accessible, traditional, professional names). I wonder what that says about me! That I'm a people-pleaser, probably!

On Charmer/Leader names:

You may start with a friendly short form you like – Sadie or Gus, say – and look for a more formal name to put on the birth certificate: Sarah or Augustine. You may be a fan of family names, but if you pick a name to honor a loved one, you’ll almost certainly find a way to familiarize it, turning Margaret into Daisy, John into Jack.

Or you might be attracted to names from either group that are short, accessible, instantly likeable, from Isla to Silas, Owen to Lucy. These names may not literally be nicknames but they almost feel like it.

I actually think Henry and Harriet sounds cute but Camille would then be the odd one out. May is nice but more of a middle name to me.

James and Henry also go very well together.

Suggestions- Florence, Chloe, Alice
and any traditional boys names would go really. Thomas Edward William etc..
